Today is the Feast of Trumpets.  Biblically it is the first of three feasts appointed by the Lord to be celebrated in the seventh month of Tishiri.  It is the first day of ten days of repentance and consecration.  Leviticus 23:24 ""...in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with the blast of the shofar.  Revelation 8:2 "And I saw the seven angels which stood before God, and to them were given seven trumpets."  Rev. 11.5 "And the seventh angel sounded and there were great voices in heaven saying, the kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of the Lord and of His Anointed One, and He shall reign for ever and ever."           

 1st Thessalonians 4:16. "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of
God.  And the dead in Christ will rise first."  We will blow the shofar and worship the Lord at The Gate today.  We will rejoice and be glad for this great day to celebrate Jesus and we will declare the goodness of the Lord and lift our voices in prayer and intercession.    We bless you that you may be found in the Book of Life and may enjoy a good and sweet year.
